True Christ-like (Christian)
children of God have a Power within them. The Power searches all things,
even the deep things of God. The Power is the same that came upon the apostles
and disciples of Christ in the upper room on Pentecost ( Acts 2:1-13). The Power is in us and works
in us. His coming was promised by
our Lord Jesus Christ.
" Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to
your advantage that I go away, for if I
do not go away,the Counsellor will not come to you; but if I go,
I will send Him to you."(John 16:7)
The Power is also known as
the Counsellor and He is the Spirit of God that indwells in the
inner-man of the host( believer). By the Power that is within, the believer is
enhanced to receive directly, the very thought( creative ideas) of his
Creator- God himself. The Power gives the believer access into the things of
God beforehand:
"... When the Spirit of truth comes,he will
guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own
authority,but whatever he hears he will speak,and he will declare to you the
things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is
mine,and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine; therefore I
said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you".(John
16:13-15)
The Power is the Holy Spirit,
the third entity in the divine Trinity. The Power was behind world evangelical
revivals across continents from the days of the apostles to these last days;
when He will be poured out more than ever before by God on his chosen
Ones (Joel 2:28-29). He is the Power within the Church
that exposes the manifold wisdom of
God to the Principalities and Powers ( dominions & angels) in the heavenly places.(Ephesians 3:10)
The Potential is the
seed of creation put inside man from
when he was created by God. Man is the image of God created in his likeness :
"Then God said, ' Let us make man in our
image, after our likeness;...So God created man in his own image, in the
image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God
blessed them, and God said to them 'Be fruitful and multiply,and fill the
earth and subdue it; and have dominion"....(Genesis 1:26-31)
Being made in God's image
means the attributes of God are part of us. The bible says ..." after
our likeness", implying that we are like God. The creation
potential was put inside of man by default, because God and his
Son Jesus can create and they created us
after their likeness. Now, from experience in life, any system or thing
that is capable of efficiently carrying out 'work' is first designed to be able
to do the desired; hence special abilities are added by default to enable the
system. More often than not, the efficiency of that system or thing can be enhanced
to improve performance by making a few tweaks
and making new additions usually built around the default principle.
These are called new models( Eve was a new model of Adam; possessing a
womb).
This is same for we human beings. God expects
us to be dynamic and proactive in providing solutions to everyday problems
multiplying our brain seeds and ultimately dominating our earth.
God said to the newly created
beings: be ' fruitful and multiply
'. In the past we thought it was only procreation this was
about,but it extends and encompasses
the utilization of the creative potential to harness and subdue our 'earth'
and exercise our dominion. In
the plants, God provided various nutritious delicacies, woods for building as
well as clothing from animals etc. Man just had to use his creative power to
harness his resources and be Fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.
Combining the
Power & the Potential
First of all you need to
recognize that you're blessed.
The bible says in Genesis 1:28... "
And God blessed them". That is an assurance of how you are
fearfully and wonderfully made. You are nothing short of a success.
When combining the Power of
the Holy Spirit and the God-given potential, you are destined for a life of
fulfillment and vitality.
" who is the man that fears the Lord? Him will
he instruct in the way that he should choose. He himself shall abide in
prosperity, and his children shall possess the land."(Psalm 25:12-13)
Combining the Power of the
Holy Spirit and the God-given potential is a win-win situation. Its a winner takes all situation. Having the Holy Spirit indwelling inside of
us; is a light unto our paths. He is the one who leads us through the
valley of the shadow of death and we fear nothing! We reach out and become
fruitful because we are of the true
vine (Jesus Christ).
" every branch of mine that bears no fruit, He
(The Father) takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes,that
he may bear more fruit"( John 15:2)
There
is no limit to the things that can be achieved when we are under the direction
of the Power of the Holy Spirit; always prompting knowledge on how to dispense
our potential. We do the right things at the right time. This is because we do
not perform on our own volition but "the Spirit searches everything
even the depths of God."(1 Corinthians 2:10)
Your business ideas and
strategies will be God-given, surely positioning you for success. That idea
that will catapult you to new levels of success will come from the Power of the
Holy Spirit and you will excel beyond boundaries. Trust God for marvelous
things to happen in all sphere of life today. You just have to desire it in
continuous prayer to God and in due season he will deliver the goods.
If you do not have the Holy
Spirit in you; all these can't work out
for you. It is so because you have rejected the Son of God. Accepting Jesus
as your personal Lord and Savior and believing that his blood cleanses you from
all your sins,makes you born again and a candidate for the indwelling of the
Holy Spirit. Behold limitless possibilities!
"
Now to him who by the Power at work within us is able to do far more abundantly,
than all we ask or think,to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to
all generations, for ever and ever. Amen( Ephesians 3:20-21)
